Chicago Alumnae Panhellenic

Chicago Alumnae Panhellenic (CAP) is a nonprofit organization connecting women from the 26 groups in the National Panhellenic Conference.

We aim to connect these women socially, professionally, and philanthropically by planning events and promoting the events of local alumnae chapters. We also aim to help young women from the Chicago area who are interested in joining the Greek system to become informed about the benefits of Greek life.

National Panhellenic Conference, founded in 1902, is an umbrella organization for national and international women's fraternities and sororities. Each member group is autonomous as a social, Greek-letter society of college women and alumnae. Members are represented on more than 655 college and university campuses in the United States and Canada and in more than 4,600 alumnae associations, making up nearly 4 million sorority women in the world.

Panhellenic Creed (for alumnae)
We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
